1. Slanted Face Hypotenuse: The true cut face width across the glass surface is $W = \sqrt{L^2 + T_b^2} = T_b / \sin(\alpha)$, where $T_b = T - T_r$. For shaped CNC glass contour beveling (Bavelloni, Intermac Master), CAM lead-in tangent paths must offset by $L$.

2. Remaining Edge Safety Margin: Never reduce remaining edge $T_r$ below $1.0\text{ mm}$ for annealed glass or $1.5\text{ mm}$ for tempered safety glass, as thin edges create severe stress risers during thermal tempering.

3. Spindle Grit Sequence: Typical 6-spindle straight-line beveler progression: Pos 1 Metal-bond 80 Grit ($60\%$ removal), Pos 2 Metal-bond 140 Grit ($30\%$), Pos 3 Resin-bond 240 Grit ($8\%$), Pos 4 Resin-bond 400 Grit, Pos 5 Felt Wheel + Cerium Oxide, Pos 6 High-lustre polishing wheel.
