Unlike ductile metals or plastics that shear into continuous chips, glass is an amorphous, brittle ceramic. 3. Critical Internal Corner Radius Constraints ($R_{\min}$)

Because peripheral grinding wheels have a finite physical diameter ($D_{\text{wheel}} = 80 - 150\text{ mm}$), a CNC router cannot machine an inside corner sharper than the tool's radius:

Rule of Geometry: Inside corner radius $R_{\min} \ge \frac{1}{2} D_{\text{wheel}}$. For standard $100\text{ mm}$ wheels, all internal corner arcs in your DXF must have $R \ge 50\text{ mm}$. If tighter corners are mandatory (such as for shower door hinge notches or outlet cutouts), the geometry must be machined with specialized small-diameter core bits ($D = 12 - 20\text{ mm}$) or abrasive waterjet cutting.
