- Closed Vector Contours: CNC pocketing routines require 100% closed vector boundaries. Any unjoined vertices or open polyline gaps will cause toolpath generators to throw errors or skip sections.
- Clearance for Tool Diameter: For CNC rotary mills, ensure positive and negative spaces are wider than your smallest engraving bit (e.g., 0.3mm to 0.5mm V-bit tip).
- Inverted / Mirror Formatting for Stamps: When stamping leather, wax, or hot foil, text and logos must be mirrored horizontally so the stamped impression reads correctly.
